About FindPicked - Practical Guides & Free Tools

A practical starting point

FindPicked helps you turn a task into a useful next step: convert a file, compare a workflow, or narrow down a purchase. The homepage guide routes questions to existing pages; it is not an unrestricted chatbot.

  • Task guides: concise steps, linked sources, cautions, and examples where available. Features marked Planned · Research are not built yet.
  • AI tools: 28 AI-powered tools for writing, recommendations, and creative tasks. They use a server-side AI service, subject to availability and usage limits.
  • Browser tools: 54 browser utilities for text, data, images, and development. Most process inputs locally; external lookups require network access.
  • Research-based comparisons: starting points for comparing specifications and use cases, not a claim that we physically tested every product.

Editorial approach

We prefer original manufacturer documentation for specifications, project documentation for technical instructions, and reproducible examples for tool behavior. A linked discussion is a research lead, not proof of market demand. Check each page for its sources and review date; older pages may need a fresh check before you act.

We distinguish an executed test, a synthetic worked example, and an untested procedure. Where no hands-on test is documented, assume desk research only. We do not present our own unsupported scores as customer review aggregates.

AI-generated drafts go to a private review queue, not directly onto the website. Publication requires checking sources, trying the relevant steps, matching claims to actual functionality, and reviewing privacy and internal links. A model’s self-assigned score is not an editorial approval.

Some buying links are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. See our disclosure.

Data and service limits

AI tools send submitted text through our server-side proxy to a model provider. The proxy code does not save prompts or results in our application database; hosting and provider handling are separate. Avoid submitting secrets or sensitive personal information. AI results can contain errors, and quotas or provider availability may interrupt requests.

Local web tools do not upload inputs for their core calculations or conversions. Some tools load external libraries or perform external lookups. Basic site analytics still make requests; tool pages do not load our advertising or session-recording scripts. Offline operation is not a site-wide guarantee. Read the privacy details.

Feedback

Open the relevant task guide and choose Share your use case to report a missing capability or describe a problem. Email is optional, with separate consent for research follow-up. This is a research inbox, not a support service with a response-time promise.

Use your private receipt at Manage feedback to delete a research response. Keep that receipt private. A general business and privacy-contact address is not yet published here.

How the site runs

The site uses a static HTML build, CDN hosting, browser utilities, and server-side API routes for model requests and voluntary feedback. Our website repository is private; we do not describe it as an open-source project. Links in our resource directories may point to separately licensed open-source projects.
