FindPicked (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates findpicked.com. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as possible.

What We Collect

  • Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 and, on eligible editorial pages, Microsoft Clarity to understand which pages are popular and how the site is used (page views, device type, approximate location, and interaction data). We do not collect names, emails, or account information through analytics.
  • AI tool inputs. When you use one of our AI tools, the text you submit is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate your result. The proxy code does not save prompt or result text to our application database. Hosting logs and the model provider’s retention and processing are separate; do not submit sensitive material.
  • Web tool data. Most web tools process inputs locally for their core calculation or conversion. Some load third-party libraries or perform external lookups, such as the IP lookup. Read the individual tool notes; offline operation is not guaranteed.
  • Newsletter email (optional). If you voluntarily submit your email on a newsletter or deals page, we store it solely to send you updates. Newsletter signup is separate from research contact consent. A self-service newsletter deletion interface is not yet implemented.

Guide and Feature Research

The homepage guide helps route a question to existing site content. When AI navigation is available, your question is sent through our server to our configured model provider. It is not stored in our research feedback database. Please keep private information out of your questions.

If you choose to share feedback about a feature marked Research, we store the task and feature identifiers, your feedback, submission time, and your email only when you explicitly consent to research contact. This is separate from newsletter signup. Feedback expires after 90 days. The private receipt shown after successful submission can be used to delete that response at Manage feedback.

Keep your receipt private. Possession of the receipt permits deletion. After deletion, a receipt-only withdrawal marker can remain for up to 90 days to prevent request retries from restoring the response; it contains no feedback text or email. Distributed storage changes may take time to propagate.

Homepage guide, solution, resource-discovery, AI-tool, browser-tool, searchable-directory, newsletter, and feedback-management pages do not load our advertising or session-recording scripts. Our custom navigation events contain only limited task/feature identifiers and status categories, not your question, feedback, email, or receipt. Short-lived hashed network identifiers may be used for request rate limiting. They are not research profiles.

Cookies & Advertising

We display ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third parties, each governed by its own privacy policy:

  • Google AdSense & Google Analytics — advertising and analytics
  • Microsoft Clarity — session analytics on eligible editorial pages
  • Cloudflare Pages — hosting and content delivery
  • Amazon Associates — affiliate links (see our Disclosure)
  • AI model providers — processing AI tool inputs

Your Choices

  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
  • Opt out of personalized ads using the links above.
  • Prefer local-processing tools when appropriate, and check their network notes.
  • Our measurement loader honors browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Page and referrer URLs sent in our configured page-view fields omit query strings and fragments. Registered outreach campaigns use fixed, allowlisted labels. Landings with unknown, incomplete, duplicate, or extra campaign labels still contribute usage analytics, but those labels are replaced with fixed unregistered, unattributed, and not_collected values rather than forwarded. These values do not identify the original campaign or source. Untagged visits retain default source attribution.
  • Delete research feedback with your receipt at Manage feedback. This does not delete a separate newsletter subscription.

Children’s Privacy

FindPicked is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.

Contact

Research feedback can be deleted with its private receipt at Manage feedback. For task-specific feedback, open a task guide and choose Share your use case. A general privacy-contact address is not yet published here; the repository is private and is not a public support channel.
