A practical starting point
Create a simple favicon for a new site
Create a small text-based browser icon, export PNG sizes, and check that it remains recognizable in a tab before adding it to your website.

A practical way forward
Choose one recognizable mark
Start with a single letter or uncomplicated symbol. Pick foreground and background colors that stay distinct at very small sizes.Preview at tab size
Check the small export rather than only the large canvas preview. Remove extra characters if their shapes merge or disappear.Install and verify
Add the chosen PNG to your site’s icon link, then reload and test another browser. Review the manifest reference if you also need installable-app icons.
Keep in mind
- Current exports are individual PNG files, not ICO files or a complete manifest package.
- Emoji rendering varies across platforms, and icon caches may delay visible updates.
